Bobby Joshi brings over two decades of experience in corporate leadership, enterprise strategy and organisational growth. He has led business units and growth initiatives across Fortune 100 organisations including IBM, Dell, EMC and Ingram Micro, with experience spanning alliances, mergers and acquisitions, commercial leadership and client advisory.

His perspective on strategy execution has been shaped by three distinct vantage points: as a business leader responsible for commercial outcomes, as a strategy execution consultant working with organisations and leadership teams, and as a Chief Human Resources Officer experiencing organisational challenges from within. Across these roles, he saw how even well-conceived strategies can lose momentum when they are not translated into clear priorities, capabilities, behaviours and systems.

His most recent role as CHRO at a retail-tech organisation became the catalyst for co-founding Alaya. From the HR trenches, Bobby saw how organisations often respond to execution gaps through disconnected people initiatives, additional training or cultural programmes, without addressing the deeper organisational conditions that shape performance. He recognised that strategy execution is not an HR problem or a communication exercise—it is an enterprise discipline.

Today, Bobby brings his three perspectives together to lead Alaya’s work across strategy translation, leadership alignment, business acumen and culture in action, helping organisations move from organisational intent to individual impact.
